sadly no the ending was her PACKING up to move to the states as her FATHER wanted and more than likely because she is gay and sadly in this day and age most Japanese families are still quite homophobic sadly i should know i was marred to a Japanese woman for a decade and that all ended when our daughter came out to use when she was still in the 4th grade my ex had a fit and then left us for 6 months thankfully she finally came around when my ex's father FINALLY came out and introduced my ex to his life partner after that my ex came to realize that our daughter was not broken and that she herself was not broken and as a result we divorced and she hooked back up with one of her childhood friends and sadly passed away 3 years ago due to catching HIV from her childhood friend
