It's much more likely that Chitose will be the one who wavers when she goes off to a different university far away and discovers that "Onii-chan" is now one of her instructors there, giving the two of them time to become much more intimate. She's been neglecting her boyfriend of late, spending more time with "Onii-chan" than with him and without thinking of her boyfriend at all.
