Zeno

I think Zeno explained it pretty clearly.

Suwon is a descendant of King Hiryuu, which means he was born from the bloodline of one of his many children.

Yona is a reincarnation of King Hiryuu himself. She is a personification of a living God.

The 4 dragons are the embodiment of the 4 angelic dragons that served King Hiryuu in heaven. Since they could not be reincarnated, they sent their spirits/powers to 4 human beings so that they could continue serving their God/King Hiryuu on Earth.

Their dragons don’t serve the King because he is King, they serve King Hiryuu because he is a God. Yona is an actual God reincarnated in human flesh hence the dragons serve her.

As for the Throne, I think both Yona and Soowon have equal claims to the throne. But since Yona is the actual God that founded the country, the whole thing belongs to her anyway.

Yona is clear successor anyway. She is a direct descendant of the current royal line. Which, legally, is all she needs.

I believe they both hold equal claims to the throne considering they are both cousins. Soowon would have been the heir to the throne anyway if his Father had not been passed over since he was the original Crown Prince. I guess we should just wait to see the truth regarding why Il became King instead. I feel like it has to be more than the fact that he was such a cruel person. He did not seem like such a terrible person in the last episodes. Something must have happened to turn Soowon’s father into a monster. And I have wondered why King Il turned out to be such a terrible king. One thing is to not be a war monger and advocate for peace. Another is willingly ignoring famine and crime. Just love how deep this story is. Cant wait for the answers.

That's kinda where it stands. I want to know who killed Yona's mom

Still I think Yona should be the successor of the throne. I mean Soo won also has the right to the throne (next in line) but unless Yona is still there, Yona is still the rightfully heir. It's just the same with Il and Yuhon, Yuhon is the rightfully the next King but Il become the King because Yuhon died. Thats why I am confused why is Soowon is still the King when people already know that Yona is still alive... Maybe because they assumed Yona is engaged to Soowon or some bs like females cant run the country.

I think it was probably an only male hereditary monarchy. Her Father did say that her husband would be King.

I also think Yona is the rightful heir, but not because of her claim as daughter of the last King, but because she is The actual God that founded the country. I mean, Gods beat King every time!
