Yes the black haired guys are the same person but after the guy got his hair cut he looks like a completely different guy

I also skipped this amazing story coz I thought it was gonna be a love triangle but thankfully I decided to read it anyways since it was completed but they seriously needed a better cover since hyun looks so different with his long hair gone
