This may not be the case, but to me the pace and coloring indeed was a bit weird. On this author’s other works, the pace isn’t weird at all, but the scenes are all black and white and the panels are not made in a scrolling way like the traditional Lezhin style, but more like a traditional manwha on paper.
The author would sometimes use a whole page just to do a character staring at the other, it was really impactful, and the black and white usually gave much more depth and drama to the drawings. I think the author trying to adapt to a new format, the Lezhin one, may be what caused this slight discomfort for some.
Still great story and art though!!!! I always loved this author to death.
