I think the church is part of his legendary job quest. Like of how it is in thebeginning, his mother forced him back to play game to earn Money.. Now he's earning while enjoying the game.
Yes! It is also the mom’s push for him to earn money with whatever he is passionate about. Also proving to his dad he can do well. He sorta did that with the recent chapter, but not fully.
