No one’s mad. We already know the sex education system in many places is very undeveloped and doesn’t teach rape culture nor explain it its problems. I already know that rape is romanticized heavily in media. I wasn’t even going at you so I don’t know what you’re on about.

But you guys know this is Porn and is created for one's pleasure not to guilt trip them. Right?I know that this is considered as a rape in real life but, seriously, people! Stop fighting over a porn. Lol. Sugureta

Porn is filled with Non-consensual sex and it’s honestly disgusting and we shouldn’t excuse it anywhere. Honestly if you don’t see anything wrong with seeing rape and sexual harassment in porn or anything that is for people’s sexual entertainment you might want to check yourself. Rape and sexual assault is inexcusable even in webtoons. When rape is shown in NSFW stuff and it’s for entertainment it’s just further normalizing rape and making it seem like not such a bad thing which is disgusting. In this case I feel the author is trying to show that this character is not a good person by including stuff like sexual-harassment and rape. I can’t believe there are people still out there defending rapists even if it’s fictional. Y’all might wanna check yourselves

It wasn’t a flat no. If she really didn’t want to, she would straight up say no again and again and even try to slap him or push him aside with more force, but that wasn’t the case. I do agree he is an as... Carotene5494

To me this was rape. She was drunk and he was manipulating her and kissing her and probably lying to her which is sexual harassment. Then he kept pushing her even when she seemed iffy about it. She did say no, and let me just say the person doesn’t have to say full on NO for it not be rape or sexual harassment. This is an issue with a lot of people, saying that because they didn’t say the word “NO” means it’s okay and excusable. When one person is drunk and not right in their mind and someone is manipulating them to have sex with them that is not 100% consensual. Only when the sex is 100% consensual and both parties don’t have a doubt that they felt safe then it’s okay. Her questioning what really happened an feeling iffy about what happened is valid and she even if she didn’t say no it still is rape or a form of sexual harassment. She was definitely taken advantage of. If it’s not rape in your eyes ☠ But i hope people know it is 100% wrong and at least a form of sexual harassment. To me this is rape.

No means no on top of her being drunk that should be enough not to mention the fact that if you notice he held her down on that page as well. I still think it was rape AliceInWonderland

she sobered up, she wasnt drunk, if she was drunk she wouldnt even remember what happened or what he said. stop throwing the word rape around ffs.he was pushy, yes, but she didnt slap him or anything either, and she didnt even looked like she regretted it.

The point is, is she didn’t say “yes” instead of “she didn’t flatly say no”. And that’s a bullshit excuse of sexual assault and rape, too. If you took a date rape drug that made you too incoherent... jollybunny012

she was hesitating because she thinks they shouldnt be doing this because they are not together, not because she felt disgusted. she didnt look like she regretted it either, she could have slapped him and not follow him to the motel (as she did sobered up), she is naive for falling for a fuckboy. stop trying to throw the word rape around when its not the case. she clearly remembered what happened between them, and she wasnt disgusted or regretting it either.

Even if you don’t “count it” as rape, because you don’t think it’s as extreme as other media depictions - it is definitely a case of sexual assault/harassment and can be legally taken to court and tried as so even though she ends up being his partner. I can’t tell if you’re a troll or if you’re sorting out personal trauma. If it’s the first, with all due respect - which is none - go fuck yourself. If it’s the second, I hope you find professional help.

the fact that some are so used to this kind of dynamic in comics to the point of not differentiating consent and abuse is pretty disturbing

    Carotene5494 June 11, 2020 7:35 pm

I hear you. I think he is an asshole too, but I still wouldn’t classify this as rape. It is disgusting for him to do so, but I don’t want to equate it with a more traumatizing and gruesome crime.

I’m gonna end this here. I understand we have different opinions on this matter, and I am not here to change anyone’s opinion but just to hear it out and state my view on it too.

Okay I know you have your own opinion, but I just wanted to let you know in case u ever see this happen in real life, or if you happen to be younger and haven’t gone to college but someday will, just so that u are able to protect yourself and others, in the US(I’m not too sure about other places) drunk does not equal consent. Consent can only be given by a sober person fully aware of their surroundings, and if you are an ethical person, consent doesn’t just end at a ‘yes’ it has a]to be a confident yes-let’s-dot-this. Therefore, this does count as rape.

(If u don’t change your opinion, that’s fine it’s your right, but just wanted to let u know, just in case)

    Carotene5494 June 11, 2020 9:38 pm

Yes. That’s why I agree he assaulted her with that kiss. But she was sober by the time they had sex in the motel. He didn’t carry her there passed out. He manipulated her into the act. She thought she actually confessed to liking him and he liked her back, so she agreed to have sex with him...then she saw his phone...

I guess our definition of consent varies a bit. I may not be in college yet, but I know how about kindness, respect and civility. I didn’t like what happened, but I don’t want to judge it with the same hammer just for that. I know that every case has their nuances, so I am willing to hear it.

We have our own opinions. I respect that.

For sure, our definitions definitely vary. Also just in case i didn’t say it clearly, I meant like if you ever go I just wanted to let you know, since it can get very wild and I rather u be over inform than under inform.

But I’m glad, we can have a respectful conversation, even if it can be kinda emotional at some points.

Stop defending people who see this as not sexual assault then and are victim blaming wtf. It’s an actual issue so treat it like one. It’s not “just a porn” when it’s raising awareness.

Stop fucking victim blaming. You’re obviously not old enough to drink because being drunk doesn’t make you forget shit. She was drugged and said no. 9 yeses and 1 no is no. She was RAPED and pinned down when she wanted to stop him. If you really don’t see it as that, I feel sorry for you. Slapping and fighting back is not the only way to show you’re not consenting. Read about rape and sexual assault and coercion to understand why what he did is punishable by law

It’s not an opinion. Rape is defined as “sexual intercourse forced on another without their consent”. Rape isn’t always in a dark alleyway in pitch black. Don’t discredit victims and their trauma it’s not “gruesome” enough. She was drugged and raped. Simple.

Omg this is a comics for christ sake!

Why come and read in a site like mangago when you will just whine if there are scenes you think is inappropriate or very disturbing.

Stop reading here and go to a more conservative sites if you can't take the heat and discern between real life and comics.

And don't think just because we don't whine like you when reading rape scenes does not mean we won't react differently irl.

The reason why we don't celebrate it nor condone it but just move on and read because it-is-a-fantasy and is part-of-the-plot. So stop whining.

Chill and enjoy the smexy scenes. (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜

Lol you’re the one here trying to police others for getting defensive yet here you are...getting defensive over us calling others out.

It’s not the fact that it has the scenes, it’s because you’re being ignorant and acting like the author put it for fantasy when it’s awareness.

Idk why you’re so mad that people are trying to educate others when that’s the same thing you’re doing but backwards and saying to just enjoy it? lol. Rape is as sick of a fantasy as Loli/pedophilia and the fact that you’re saying it should be turned a blind eye to and ignored cuz it’s “not real life” is sad.

Rape comics get called out and poorly rated on this site too btw bl and straight smut all the like. If you want a more liberal animated rape community, go to HentaiHaven since it’s filled with it.

I love this comic. The author showed the guys predatory behavior amazingly. It’s people that don’t get the message and say “well she should have slapped him away” or “it’s not rape imo” that leave a bad taste in my mouth. Consent in this comic is a great part of why I instantly loved it and also that the author is calling out date rape and coercion done by that scumbag. It’s not “just a story” when it’s touching real issues.

I hope you understand my view and if you still think I’m overreacting, bygones.
