I don’t understand why people are so quick to forgive Allen but won’t give the prince a chance to redeem himself. The only thing he’s done to her in this life is try and protect her, the worst he’s done is be cold to her and yet everyone is so caught up in the fact that he raped and abused her in her previous life. Meanwhile Allen has conspired to kill her and after this chapter people have forgiven him. I mean I forgave him too, but I also am willing to give the prince a chance to show her he loves her. HES DIFFERENT THAN HE WAS BEFORE, THEY ALL ARE!! THATS LITERALLY THE ENTIRE PLOT OF THE STORY!! It’s this kind of hypocrisy that makes me hate the internet

You can get over trauma, but not feel confortable in front of someone who remember you everyday of all the abuse you had to go throught, espacially if he is like a twin brother of your abuser. Tia's suffering was brutal. She actually still compare them way after their marriage. How is it a healthy relashionship? It has nothing to do with "deserving a second chance" or guilt. There is a limit to what a reader can stomach and swallow, and this ending his clearly disturbing. The number of people who don't seem to mind is astonishing and scare me. Even without the others options like Allen and Carsein, he shouldn't be a possible love interest in the first place. And it is making me laught that the author intended to break the ususual troops when she forced the "ML goes back to the one who abused her and killed her in her previous lif". Open your eyes, it is a chinese classic story, and not in a good way.

I agree with you (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ it’s a different timeline, and the prince is a different kind of person now. I hope people can understand that.

And for Allen, it was not intented. Ta was not the target, reason why he will risk his life by potentially facing execution by coming clear to the Emperor. He screwed up, but didn't move directly against Tia contraty to the Prince in BOTH timeline. He wasn't only "cold", reread their interraction in the second timeline before he started having a real interest in her. Allen his a psyco, but the Prince is no better. The show he is putting to get Tia is only a part of his personnality. He IS cold hearted, and the "defrosting the Ice-King" who becomes only nice to me should be a red warning, not perceived as romantic.

Your not correct about the prince his behavior was not natural before there is context that will be revealed. Not all is black and white.

I am fully aware of the reasons who are "poison", "manipulation by a fatherly figure" and "inferiority complex". Let's not talk about how it doesn't hold up or if the first timeline's prince should be responsible for his actions. What is important is what he did, even if unwillingly. You can forgive the one who abused you this way for extenuating circumstance; But falling in love and being confortable? No way. Once again, see when Tia magically started to become flustered in front of him in the second timeline? The author clearly intented to make a "She never overcame her feelings for him in the first timeline and since he became a better version of him it is a happy ending" when she had no reason other than being brainwashed to love him, be it by Vita's will or the author's will. He had done nothing of note to her to even start to feel confortable around him when she first blushed.

And if you were saying that he is indeed a better person in the second timeline, you need to read the novel. Tia's father called him cold-hearted and wish at the end of the story that she would choose someone else, even if he intended to respect her choice. A great part of his POV is about his sexual attraction to her. He is shown to be short-tempered when frustated too and make full use of the power he has on her "But I know that almost everytime she will relent to my wish or point of view if I talk about it in one of our nightsession".

Can’t help but notice that your problem is about how tia chooses the prince despite the fact that he cause her trauma in her previous life. By that logic you should be mad at tia for choosing him again instead of the prince who actually hasn’t done anything to her in this life

There is no point in being angry at a fictional world and at fictional characters. What is concerning is that not only the author but a lot of the readers really think that it is a healthy "true love" story. You can root for the Prince all you want, but at least admit that the curent him is flawed too (and not only the hopeless romantic that you want to see, he do have a very cold side in him) and that if it was real you would think this relashionship is disturbing.

Tia was not the target but her father was, he intented to ruin her house to claim her. Yes he didn't plan to hurt her physically but it'd still damage her and cause her trauma. If only the plan was moving according to what he had in mind, I'm pretty sure he'd still proceed on killing her father. He stopped and redeemed himself after he realised it endangered her safety.

Weird, I remember that he did it to become the seccessor of his family and, if he thought about killing Keiran when he intercepted his letters, he never acted upon it. I stand corrected if I am wrong. Well, he will have a lifetime to regret his action so, karma I guess. He was stopped before he did something irrevercible too (since Carsein was healed).

You’re right it is a fictional story and I don’t actually think the prince is perfect nor a hopeless romantic. As you said it’s fictional and not worth getting angry over which is why I’m frustrated with people for hypocritically hating on the prince while other characters have done questionable things too. And it might not be the ideal or remotely healthy relationship but a relationship where the abused person either stays with their abuser or finds another abusive person to be in a relationship happens a lot more than it should in reality. It’s mostly in fiction where that abuser can actually become a decent person.
