Well, it all depends on how he'll act in the later chapters. Do you really expect him to act all goody goody and gentle in the early phase given that he's an Emperor and the uke is a slave (and the son of an enemy)????? That'll be rare. Gok is hung up on not repeating the past because he was with a really asshole Emperor.
