was there an end to that manga ?
it was set in ancient china /japan (?), the MC was taken as a concubine to educate the emperor who wasn't doing anything and she wanted to become an court official

i've read it a while ago and i feel like there was more than those 26 chapters there is here http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/saiunkoku_monogatari/

did they continue it in another "series", as in under another name ?

According to myanimelist, there are nine volumes (44 chapters) in total, but not all of them are scanlated. I think scanlation gruop must've dropped it.

im not sure about the manga but the novel is done. I remember reading some spoiler summaries way back. maybe you can still find some on Google

oh no... that's such a good manga though
they probably dropped it because it got officially translated
