All I read is BL now?!!!

I hated other genres like a year ago (in manga) I only used to read yaoi, not even shounen-ai and now my fav hetero is ''Blood of madam Giselle'' so I guess we all changed hahah

what do you mean about the "female characters are the same"? like, I agree with you, but u think it's a good thing?

It means exactly that lol, that hetero stories were becoming boring bc is the same thing but in different fonts.

I kinda don't care about that as long as it's good, i think probably most of the stories i've read are all the same in some way but i still like to eat those cliches up.

I'm open to most genres but I actually seek out BL now more than anything.

I also enjoy the Missing O as well (but it's not on Mangago). The Lady and Her Butler, Bloody Sweet, were also enjoyable.

Most/Many female characters became too cliche. I've read many BL's during this quarantine, and I'm beginning to see the BL tropes/cliches but I'm still having fun with BL comics. There are some characters that stand out to me for hetero titles, but my point is that I seek out BL more than hetero romance now.

i think its because it is hot to see two guys together but even i like bl i gotta admit most stories are so similar.

well, I don't really like hetero romance for some reasons, but ohh god there are some yaoi that you can predict every movement and reaction, and there is a lot of those! I just get really tired with this stuff, and sometimes it's even some offensive stuff like the female always being a bitch with no personality and the uke getting raped.. but there are some good ones :P

Hahaha went through that phase as well but looks like these shoujo isekais led me to read hetero stuff again

honestly cant relate TT i prefer hetero relationships because the mc's personalities can vary a bit imo!
for yaoi, it seems like the only 2 characters are "uwu soft boye" and "infifferent boye" so i got tired of it, sure, het manga/manwhas repeat personality as well but theres lso something different in them? idk,, like some can be weak or strong?

Yeah, I've noticed those tropes too. I'm enjoying the ones I'm reading. I mainly read webtoons and not manga tho. So far I've only read like 1 or 3 that the uke was raped, but in 1 of the (Not a Sugar Daddy) they addressed the rape and the rapist was kind of punished.

That's probably it. I guess i also enjoy the secret relationship factor as well. Although it does kind of suck that people in many countries can still be passively (or physically) punished for being a gay couple

I do agree with you there. The "2 personality types" is kind of getting annoying but I'm still enjoying the overall plot of the stories I'm reading.

This could be a phase. I still read hetero stories, I just actively search for new BL webtoons more than hetero romance.

I'm enjoying it a lot! The uke is cute and he ain't spineless/low self-esteem. You should check out my "currently reading list" there are a few in there that are hidden gems but I can't name them off the bat "A Night to Remember" "Two and Too" and a few others.

I stick to the webtoons+cute art-style looking ones and I read the comments before i proceed ╮(￣▽￣)╭
