I might be reaching but I might not, who cares let me have fun. There's a little snap effect before Latte asks "Why would you ask me that?" with an expression we've never seen before. The expression can rival Ibelins natural expression. We've never seen Latte make such an expression, and for her to pull it when Arwin says his infamous line? It would be no wonder if Ibelin used magic to take over Lattes body because she realized a love interest was wandering astray. After that scene we clearly see/hear Latte question why she randomly brought up Ibelin, and then she brushed it off. Maybe i'm reaching but this was all really fun for me in the end anyway.
Oh thats a nice theory! I think it may be that in the back of lattes mind shes compared herself to Ibelin and always thought she was never as good as Ibelin and so when Arwin asked she thought why me? Im not good enough? I dont actually know the really answer of why she thought that yet
