My guess is the fairy want to curse Hojae to be smelly because he peed on it thus makes him get an unhappy life.
Except that fairy probably is the type to grant wishes instead doing black juju so...

I always wondered how it was a 'curse'. But if he's attracting men and men only with the smell when he thinks he's straight, it's probably annoying for him.
