IKR. I get that the mom was a music teacher but that was just rubbing it in. Also when Kirsten narrated, "When they married, my mother made JUST ONE mistake." I hope that's just because of bad translation. I mean, how many mistakes should she have committed?
I'm super late, but y'all too hard on the mother she was basically in an abusive relationship, where she had no freedom. So obviously when she got it, it went over her head, because no one likes being control and being unable to breath. I'm just amaze they didnt leave him sooner. So it was a little mistake, b/c she most likely wasn't planning for it to happen and when it did she regretted it, that repenting does not equate to giving up the thing you love in life.
I thought that if she repented she shouldn't have kept playing the piano that she learned with her lover? Maybe that was just me? And to even teach it to her daughter and make her husband seem like the bad guy was outrageous. Although he was a bit much (even perhaps a lot much) of course he'll be possessive. The MC said a little mistake, just because it happened once her mom did cheat I would be upset at that.
I went on a rant and learned I did not like any of the characters except the friends.
