For all the people trashing MD, you don't think he has feelings too? Like Chanwoo is/was selfish and a idiot. So like...Chanwoo only uses the safe word when MD seems interested in someone else? But he can go around a do whatever he wants? Sounds like the 'i don't have interest or wanna play with my toy much until someone wants it or have it!!!

yes!!! MD knew so many signs, he knew chan doesn’t use safe words and also doesn’t value himself bc of his past relationships. in no way am i gonna say chan is perfect cuz he has his own problems, but you don’t have to be a saint in order to be treated well in a relationship. even if people have their faults or mistakes, it doesn’t excuse their partner to manipulate or abuse them.

Why should he be more lenient with Chanwoo..More than Seung? Chanwoo didn't care how he felt, so why should MD?
Why is it that its ok for Chanwoo to whatever, but a complete catastrophe if MD does whatever?

Y'all giving chanwoo too much credit! YOU GUYS STILL DON'T GET THAT CHANWOO IS ONLY FEELING LIKE THAT BECAUSE HIS PRIDE WAS HURT! LIKE would it be the same if it MD had someone else come and do it? You forgot C... Moylyn

THANK YOU. OMG. They wanna turn Chanwoo into a victim when he was the ONE being heartless, inconsiderate and abusive like had it been a psycically stronger person doing that to a physically weaker they'd be screaming abuse right now

HOW do you turn Chanwoo into the victim????

MD only said he agreed to be fuck buddies because he was DESPERATE, then he got away from Chanwoo because he was obviously taking time to think for himself Because HE had feelings for Chanwoo.

Now HOW are you going to just ignore thag Chanwoo lirerally tried to introduce his new BF to someone who LIKES him and had taken distance EXACTLY because of that. You want to victimize Chanwoo so bad that you completely forget that he did that

Also you really want to talk about MD's desperate attempt to keep chanwoo in his life, saying it was his choice and all, but on the other end you're gonna ignore that MD asked Chanwoo to leave if he wasn't happy TWICE? And Chanwoo WILLINGLY stayed?

Also safe words are MADE for the sub to stop whenever they can't endure the play anymore. BDSM is about pushing boundaries to begin with so your whole "he went too far and waited for chanwoo to break down" doesn't even work here because that's literally the rule of the game.

And don't tell me Chanwooo didn't know HE knew he had played with chanwoo for WEEKS before that drama.

Now let's talk about the actual use of safe word. MD didnt wait for chanwoo to break down, he's not Ms. Crystal Ball. As far as he knew he was facing a sub who did him dirty and got played, and was punishing him for that.

Chanwoo, however KNEW what was going on in his own head. He KNEW he could use his safe word or leave. Especially since he was annoyed by the other sub. Yet HE waited to break down. HE KNOWS the rules.

And MD didn't stop because it was satisfying that whatever evil plan you are trying to stick to him worked (it was a SIMPLE revenge. Chanwoo could have left for all he cared), he actually stopped because he couldn't see chanwoo crying like that.

So stop making him out for the criminal in this case because literally ALL he did in this was taking revenge the best way he thought of at the moment and CHANWOO went along with it until his braincells started finally working.

This HAS to be a joke.
How STUPID does one have be to agree to take their new BF to someone who is currently cutting contact with them because they like them? Chanwoo was inconsiderate.

Don't say Chanwoo is an abused victim because MD NEVER abused him. So they weren't even in that kind of dynamics. Abusive relationships are BUILT over time which is absolutely not the case here, no you don't become dependant on somebody in one night after discovering you got played in your own shallow game. It's just not how psychology works.

And STOP acting like Chanwoo cried because of the fckin situation. He cried because he saw MD kissed another right in front of him which is very ironic considering how he agreed to do the same time of bullsht to MD just hours before, all smiley.

Chanwoo IS toxic for himself and for MD, and he will still be if he doesn't change his shallow ways. Pretty that if the story had ended sooner, it would be MD reaching Chanwoo to tell him he can't do it.

MD's situation was seen a MILLION TIMES before in REAL and IMAGINARY life so HOW do you not understand his point of view?

That being said, if MD is abusive for taking revenge on Chanwoo's fcked up attitude, then a majority of Humanity is.

How are you gonna have the nerve to defend someone who ignores somebody else's feelings and acts in the most AWFUL way towards that

And then give lessons about decency in the same sentence how does that work?

And MD owes Chanwoo what exactly? Moylyn

??? I never said MD owes Chanwoo anything. Sorry, maybe I phrased it badly. I just meant that Chanwoo has every right to like who he wants, and not like who he wants, and MD emotionally abusing him because he didn't like being rejected, or to 'help' Chanwoo, is just unnacceptable. I don't see how people are blaming Chanwoo, he isn't perfect, I know, but that doesn't give MD the right to manipulate and abuse him.

I can't... every reply you've written here is just... saying that Chanwoo was abusing MD and not the other way around??? Huh??? You need to research about what emotional manipulation and abuse is. Chanwoo has been very insensitive, but people are allowed to reject whoever they want!! They agreed to keep their relationship professional, I fully empathise with how MD must have been feeling in such a situation, but he has become emotionally manipulative, and that isn't excusable because his feelings were hurt by Chan.
Also, saying Chan could have left whenever and that he could have just said the safe word, we've seen that it's not that easy. He refused to say it even while MD was choking him, both us and MD know Chanwoo doesn't know his limits, so taking advantage of that is a shi**y thing to do.
Another thing, saying that 'Abusive relationships are BUILT over time' and 'you don't become dependant on somebody in one night after discovering you got played in your own shallow game. It's just not how psychology works'. First of all, I'll admit, I am not an expert in psychology, are you?? Are you really sure that psychology, in terms of every human on the planet, doesn't work like that? Also, who said Chan became 'dependent' on MD in one night?? As far as I know, giving us that argument is pretty irrelevant to everyone else's points?? Like saying that doesn't explain your reasoning as to how you think Chan wasn't abused. I am confusion.
On top of that, saying 'This is just Representative of today's generations, it's never, EVER directly their fault it's always something around them'. Once again, after reading one of your sentences, I was left thinking, HUH??? What generation are you? What generation do you think everyone else on here is?? Stereotyping an entire generation, probably isn't a good idea?? Also, saying that today's generations blame others and not themselves... just no? Have you ever met anyone from this generation? Because I know plenty that are super kind, hardworking, and take responsibility for their actions. But we also have enough knowledge and self respect to know when we are in a situation that is not our fault. Also, do you really believe that victim blaming is okay, and that not victim blaming is just people blaming others when it's their own fault??? Seriously??? I don't even know where to begin. Believe it or not, abuse isn't something anyone deserves, no matter how selfish or insensitive they may be, saying it's their fault for being abused.. ????? It is the abusers fault, not the victim. I just....
Anyway, I know probably no one is gonna read this because it's so long but I've just never met anyone who has these kinds of opinions and I'm so frustrated rn!!!! Like I really just wanna talk to you for like an hour and try to make you understand what I'm saying, because I don't understand your opinions on this, there's just so much wrong with your mentality.

omg this!!!!! i agree with everything here! it’s so hard trying to explain why this relationship is bad and why MD is being abusive and toxic. like i mentioned before, i’ve been in a toxic and emotionally abusive relationship so i recognize what MD is doing and it screams red flags. also i’m not gonna say i’m credible but i’m a major in psychology and just that whole post talking about how “psychology works” i was like wtf?? no that’s not how it works. abuse isn’t only something that takes time, yes in many cases it happens with relationships over time, but that doesn’t mean it can’t happen in short periods of time. abuse is abuse no matter how long it’s been. it’s crazy seeing how many people hate chanwoo bc he rejected MD so now he deserves everything that’s happened to him. and everyone just saying “chanwoo is an adult he can leave at any time” is so problematic. people aren’t understanding what manipulation is and just how much it can hold people back, no matter how old or young someone is. i knew the bl fandom was toxic and problematic but this was just something else. i normally never comment on anything, but this really bothered me and i just wanted to try and explain to people why MD is toxic and what he’s doing isn’t okay, no matter how “bratty” or “selfish” chanwoo is being. i just hope people don’t think these things are okay if they happened in real life. i know i’m probably reading too deep and this is literally fiction, however i believe fiction and what we read/see has a huge impact on our actions and i just want people to realize what toxic relationships are and what abuse can look like ):

Idk, but I just think people should be more educated about abuse. Also, you do a great job at explaining!!! Yeah, I've seen a lot of people try and explain, but I've gotten to the point where I feel like there's not much people can do to change others' minds, as sad as that is.
