I think it’s important to keep in mind that a relationship is not about owning someone. It’s about two people with their own mindsets that love and trust each other. You won’t know what the other person is thinking unless you ask and your partner won’t know what you want if you don’t tell them. And of course opinions will differ but what counts is how you act if that’s the case: will you talk about the topic, thinking about pros and cons together or will you hastily judge your partner?
You don’t act without a reason - same goes for everyone.
So to sum up, I think the most important thing is to keep in mind that your partner is a person with their own will and one should respect that.
Talking about the manga, I kinda understand both but I like the seme more. I’m not justifying his actions but I understand his reasoning. If my partner was lukewarm like that, I’d probably break it off. Bc honestly, if there’s nothing coming back, I ain’t investing anymore. I mean I can tolerate stuff but please give me a reason so I can understand you. So, what I’d like for the uke to do is open up and respect seme's love.
Yalls, not trying to say that what Tsukasa did was reasonable but it’s a reaction to the lack of communication. He should have known better but he doesn’t that’s why he projected his feelings. It takes 2 people to be in a relationship, otherwise I wouldn’t be alone at night projecting my feelings into this comment just to fill the empty space.
SideNote: in the past, i could alway see how my friends gradually lose their common sense when they got their boyfriends, especially when they fight over the simplest things and projecting their ideals and become disappointed when their partner is not what they imagine to be. And seeing how tsukasa if feeling, boy oh boy, I PRAY TO ALL THE GODS THAT IT DOESNT HAPPEN TO ME. I dont want to be irrationally inlove.
Ramblings of a 20-year-old who had never been in a relationship. Peace Out
