The art is gorgeous but the characters expression are so stiff. It hardly shows change of emotion. It's like when the artist creates a character design then showing it in different angles. It's kinda awkward. The expression has to evoke emotions. Shading, brows alignement, mouth shaping, lighting, color refracturing of the eye, eyes natural changing shape would really help. I feel that the artist is indeed trying to incorporate it but is still quite amateur. I wonder how this manhua would improve later on. I wish to see 50+ chapters of it and see the difference.
I think why it's so stiff it's because they use Adobe illustrator instead of Photoshop for the coloring that's why it looked a bit stiff. But it's just my speculation ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Agree If the characters have no expression, they look totally fine, but when there’s any expression on their faces it just looks so stiff and unnatural The plot seems interesting, if only the author could work on the characters’ expression, this manhwa would be great
I use illustrator but in a different way. My friend took graphic design and one of their project is to make a a portrait of themself and it look just like this
