I agree he wasn't in a good headspace but I think chanwoo decided that just like with the choking play, his pride was hurt so he did it anyway.
I think MD knew that and he wanted to push him so that he would call it off on his own
Chanwoo will have to stand up and start making decisions for himself. he has to figure out what he's willing to take or use going to keep letting people beat him and treat him bad
he's got to speak up for himself and I think in a way that's what MD decided to let him do
