I'm not sure how close to the novel spoon will keep it but in the novel it is a wizard Lucas knew in the past, who I believe was also an Emperor. Arteni-something lol in the manhwa it seems to be Anastacius since he seems to slightly care for Jeanette? But I'm not sure which it is at this point. I'll dot out the bigger points, if you want specifics on something please let me know!
The differences are that Claude and Athy had a closer and cuter relationship with Jeanette hardly involved. Their reunion was much more touching as well, even though he doesn't remember her he's still soft with her.
Then from how it plays out in the novel Claude spends Athys 15th bday with her! And then later gets his memories back thanks to Lucas. It isn't dragged on very much actually. Their relationship is actually adorable and they have so many cute father/daughter moments.
Not long after Athy is able to use magic, like, stronger magic I guess? Since she already used magic... Anyway, Lucas begins teaching her.
There's a time skip of 2yrs. Athy is 17. She's incredibly good with magic now. We get a few spicy athyxlucas moments ;) he teases her a lot with his grown up self he does this a lot actually and it makes athy so shy and nervous ahhh
There are points where events happen with Ijikiel involved. People begin to notice Jeanette more because of her black magic leaking everywhere. She becomes incredibly popular. She also starts to grow feelings for Ijekiel and grows jealous of Athy bc she can tell Ijikiel likes her.
Also aound this time the guy we see in the manhwa, Anastacius, shows up and says he's the wizard of the tower. Again, it's different from the manhwa since he's barely shown up rn and he's being so forward about it and in the novel he's Artenitus or w.e. Not Anastacius.
An Arlanta envoy comes to Obelia, we get a character that's Ijekiels friend from school. I'm not sure if they'll add this bit since the whole school arc wasn't done in the manhwa - anyway! The dude falls in love with athy but bc of Jeanette's magic he falls for J instead. Lucas beats him up lmao
Athy has a busy life. She's busy flirting with Lucas who we see grow into a yandere lmaoo jk but he is insanely jealous of everyone omg she's also learning magic and doting on her dad so she doesn't care about being popular lol she lets J keep all the fame
Im sure there's other important points but bc they're all grown it turns into a teen love drama, which is greatt. We still have lotsa dad/daughter moments but yah. For a while this is it.
What eventually happens is Jeanette kinda loses it out of jealousy towards Athy and at a banquet (at which Athy and Lucas dance while hes in grown up formm ahhh) she confronts Claude and tells him she's his daughter but Claude is like excuse me whomst the fuck is your dad?? And then tells her the truth and basically he knew about her all along lol and then Jeanette tries to explode with her black magic but Lucas contains her and she's arrested. Later Athy and Lucas get the fake anastacius to remove her black magic which is in her eyes and her eyes turn green, their original color.
Lucas x Athy moments everywhere. Jealous claude. It's magnificent.

Me too honestly lol her gaining confidence and being proud is one thing but getting cocky, which is the direction she headed, is another. There's a part where she spots Lucas and she goes up to him all chummy and calls him by name, "Mr. Lucas" instead of addressing him by his title like she should cause she's like "oh athy is friends with him I can be too" but Lucas shuts her down hard and he's like "I didn't give you permission to call me that " and she's like "but the princess does" and he tells her "but you're not a princess" and she shuts up real quick I

Also, since the manhwa isn’t going the same way as the novel, someone in Instagram kept saying Anastacius’s is the real Anastacius and not some kind of wizard... Like she kept commenting that to people who are saying it’s a wizard related to Lucas.. And now I’m confused cause that boi literally died by the hands of his brother.. He can’t comeback alive ya’know?
