I understand what u say but thats also like culture in china and asian countries, thats why u see it more often in mangas/manhuas/manhwas that the parental figures like try to "force" them to marry. They just want their child to be happy and live a better life then them and go on go on..
I’m sorry but I really hate grandfathers that acting like that just go find your mind peace by yourself not with forcing others to do things and control their life
