All you have to do is put this comic in your "now reading" or "already read" located in your space. You can do this after voting for the comic.

You just have to put the title into your list. When you click on the titile there are options: want to read/ reading/ already read. Ofc you have to own an account first.

When you put in now reading or already read You can see you can check "subscribe this manga" It doesn't work if you put it in want to read

I see that you already have things in your space. Are you wondering if you can get notifications sent to your phone?

Ah no I don’t think that’s possible. I just wanted to make sure I would be able to get notified on here if any of the stories I have on “read” ever got new updates

Yes, you will. You will only ever not get updates on stories in your "want to read". :)
