yeah in the novel lucas return and he immediately cures the emperor, here they are dragging it out he should've healed him the first chapter he got back
I do not understand your feeling but your wrong comparing the novel and the manga/comics or anime this three can change there story a bit to satisfy the people there's a part that can't be put in example manga to anime it has a lot of miss scenes I know that already soo it's better to understand than being annoyed
