About the ring thing. So the seme bought him a ring for his BDay when they were celebrating. He didn’t for it was his bday or anything he bought the ring in advance. The uke is surprised that the seme would remember his birth day (because his misunderstood that his lover didn’t like him)

The seme bought the ring before. The night before the ukes birthday he got a call/message from his ex (the start of the drama). Instead of telling his lover that something urgent came up and sending him a birthday text, he just ignored the birthday and told his lover not to come over. That's why he told the uke he had to come over the next day - so he could give him the gift (though he did it in a stupid way).
Question: Did the seme buy that ring for the uke after remembering it was his birthday or did he know and just didn't hang out with him that day? The wording was confusing because he said the uke only told him once but he also said "you think I'd forget or something!" Either way, I feel like both the seme and uke have serious communication problems. Like why couldn't the uke just remind him it was his birthday??? I don't mind that he cut him off though because the seme had it coming. I was more annoyed that the boss would give out his address to the seme's ex (invasion of privacy!) and when the seme came over, he arrogantly told his ex that he was staying over at the uke's place (before even talking with him) and then kind of commanded the uke to live with him at the end.
With all that said, I understand people's frustration with the first seme but honestly, I feel he's just really simple-minded. He seems like the kind of person who prefers to separate his 'friend' time with his bf time, which would explain a lot of his choices. Like when he told his ex being by his side was the most important thing right now, I believe he literally meant he was more important at that moment bc he was injured, whereas he could see the uke anytime. It prob never occurred to him to ask where he lived or worked either. Overall, the seme is just the type who doesn't understand how he comes off and needs to be told these things directly. I'll admit though, I did kind of wanted to see him get jealous over the manager since he had feelings for the uke. Lol.
