    No, I disagree. When you get assaulted your body doesn't know how to respond, so you get scared. Your strength gets weak and you can't think straight. Tom didn't ask for it and couldn't "just walk away". Try putting yourself in his shoes. If you got touched by your neighbor when you have a lover. Could your body really push him away or would you be so scared and shocked that you couldn't move. I am a confident woman believe me, but one time a stranger touched me on the bus, I tried, but couldn't speak up. My body was paralyzed and I somehow forgot how to speak. After the person got off I couldn't think straight, I was confused and scared the whole day at school. I was so scared to talk to anyone about it. Just like Tom, you cant ignore or walk away from the situation because it was a rape! Your body and mind doesn't just forget that in one day.
