I think you also need to consider the POV of how rape is viewed in korea. Idk I’m korean and I having to say you were raped is very hard, and there is a lot of victim blaming there still. Ofc Mcqueen would believe Ed, but I definitely think it’s a kind of fear/hard to say for Ed (especially difficult since if you are male). Definitely agree with Ed should say smth to Mcqueen tho :-(

Also! We learned through these recent chapters that Ed has a lot of “pride” and that I think that might play a factor!
