I understand where you're coming from. What I felt is seme wants second chance at relationship, at love and at sex which is okay. But if he really wanted to make up to uke, he shouldn't be forceful as uke already suffered trauma. Yet I believe If uke was topping for three years and enjoying himself then he isn't a 'uke' anymore. Also when it's a question of love, it shouldn't matter who does what. Seme should have offered to be a bottom for revival of their relationship again. Being a bottom doesn't snatch of your right to make other person happy.. So even if seme tried bottoming he can prove himself right or show his love or maybe later uke himself offered to bottom seeing his concerns for him...
