Don't want to spoil it but she is not the mom of yeong-gi and yes she only cares about her and her son i literary notice that it wasn't his son till the latest episode in webtoon but yeah shin-ae and yeong-gi are definitely catching feeling and i don't know but i'm in between yeong-gi and dieter but i also like kousuke and i definitely love her friendship with Min-hyuk so i wouldnt ship them a lot

Could it be that the mom is not the younger brother mom ? Though she doesn't act bad with him but he's scared from her a lot. I do agree she seems sneaky and maybe a bit nasty but I don't think she's evil is she? She just do things that works for her own benefit or her son ( older brother) benefits but nevertheless she didn't try to harm the fl or the younger brother.
I also think the younger brother is starting to develop feelings for fl and the fl is developing a crush ( if not already) on dieter my baby bear boy and omg him being jealous of the younger brother and her best friend is just ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ AWESOME AND ADORABLE!
