I warned you.....

I read the raws but since I can't read Korean, I only had a little bit of understanding about what was going on. So yeah the ex bf is indeed Yuri and they were good before. There was a scene where Yuri called FL to the school's storage room. It looked like Sian was breaking up with Yuri (idk why maybe because he's too obssessive) so of course Yuri didn't want to. He hugged sian and I'm not sure if he planned to assault her but the only thing that happened was him hugging Sian while telling her something with that classic "yandere face" look. Then they heard someone near and Sian tried to seek help but Yuri covered her mouth and kept on hugging her then Sian passed out.

So for those of you who are wondering who she ended up with, blonde guy won.

I was disappointed at first. I read the ending early on to decide if I want to continue reading this. And I was surprised to find out who the male lead is. I was still at the chapter where he was initially introduced so I really hated that he was the one who ended up with sian. I really hate playboys and the way he thought of women. I'd rather go for Yuri even if he's obssessive.
But I decided to read the whole story and I understand now how Blondy is a better match for Sian than Yuri.

They both had their faults. Both isn't exactly a good guy. One's a playboy jerk and one's an obssessive creep. The only difference is that blonde guy changed for Sian while Yuri was only worsening sian's phobia. But I still like Yuri. Even though he did some unforgivable things, he really did love her just in a wrong way. I loved their story but sadly he made wrong decisions and he was toxic to Sian. I do think breaking up with her was the only thing that could make him change for the better.
Btw he changed in the end and apologized to Sian through a letter. Sian cried as she read and reminisced their happy moments.

Too bad, I was really excited on reading this because I thought this was gonna be a FLxYandere story. I was tired of the typical male lead that is a jerk at first then changes when he fell in love with the female lead. But anyway it's still a great story and I don't regret reading it. At least it was a happy ending. Everything was resolved and it made sense. Blonde guy is the better match for Sian.

Even so I can't excuse Yuri's actions. At least the blonde guy changed and developed, right? I despise playboys but as long as he got character development I'm find with it. But... for me, personally, I hate Yuri even more. Yuri is very yandere and stalkerish and he's too obsessive. He and her mother are one of the biggest reasons she has that phobia to begin with. It's really clear Yuri has some mental disorder and that's clearly effecting him in present time to act like this and hurt the FL. It's just really not a healthy relationship. The blonde guy made mistakes in the past, mistakes that are really disgusting but he tried to help out the FL at least. And he's getting character development. The only reason I can actually forgive him compared to Yuri is that he didn't commit any crimes that could permanently damage someone. Yuri was just an obsessive stalker and a creep. I hope you understand where I'm coming from, but at least it was a happy ending (since I'm assuming she got over her fears?)

Yes I understand where you're coming from and I do think he's a better match for someone like Sian. I just personally liked Yuri and their love story when they were still a couple. Sadly, he made wrong decisions and did some unforgivable things. In the end, he regretted the things he had done and I think he's now trying to change. I cried when sian was reading Yuri's letter and remembered their happy moments before haha. Their story was so heartbreaking.
I think both blonde guy and Yuri had their own faults. I hated blonde guy because of how he thought of women so I prefer yuri even if he's obssessive.
The difference is that blonde guy changed for FL and that was what I was hoping to happen for yuri which he did too late. Though, I do think breaking up was the only thing that could make Yuri change. Storywise, the author did a good job. Everything made sense and was resolved at the end.
The reason why I was disappointed is because I was getting bored of the typical ml that is a jerk at first then changes when he falls in love with the FL . the initial reason why I started reading this was because I wanted a different love story. Nevertheless, this is still a good manhwa and I am happy it got a good ending.

I liked the blonde guy for her too the other one was way too obsessed which is not healthy. The blonde guy had a trauma with women too and not being able to keep relationships for long because he thought he was trash. But he truly fell for the female lead and wanted to overcome this and be there for her. I think they were the ideal match to get over their phobias and fears and be there for each other

Yeah that makes sense. Both of them had their own faults but I just find Yuri to be really obsessive and unhealthy. Also yeah I get that you got tired of typical jerk MLs. TBH i haven't seen a jerk ML/Playboy much at all. All I've seen are "sweet" guys or "antisocial" guys. For me I just HATE Yuri because of how unhealthy they seem, which would definitely lead to an unhealthy relationship. But its a great manhwa like you said (●'◡'●)ノ

I could tell the FL seemed to have a lot of chemistry with the blond hair dude from the earlier chapters, so I kinda did the same and read the raw finale first, gonna drop it. It's not like I'm an edgy bastard that can't read wholesome stories, I do love them, but honestly since this manhwa marketed itself as being about an unusual romance and all that jazz I'm a little disappointed. Of course an obsessive relationship is unhealthy IRL but that's why it's interesting to resort to fiction to explore it, sometimes. Either having it a total trainwreck or developing an actual romance with Yuri exposing him to Sian first rather than the other dude and working from there all the way from the bottom could have been a fun ride. It seems to be a decent story for a spiced up (at the expense of Yuri) linear traditional romance, but not what I'm looking for right now. Thank you for writing this up (●'◡'●)ノ

Exactly! You took the words right out of my mouth. I read this thinking it was that sort of story but it wasn't. Now I'm reading "It's mine" and I think this has a better chance of turning into the unusual love story we're looking for.

That makes sense! For me, I like unusual romances as long as they're not... toxic? If that makes sense. But they're really fun to read and delve into! Good luck on your journey!
