I agree on the first part and the second part gave me an interesting point of view. I think he's not interested in the other sub and he's only doing that in order to have a little (?) revenge on Chanwoo.

I just wonder why he felt like he HAD to confess right after Chanwoo shares that his (ex)boyfriend hit him that day. It's such bad timing, smh. Did he expect Chanwoo to be like 'yes please marry me now'?
i agree to disagree but Chanwoo didnt know MD would catch feelings, in the beginning they had a contract for BDSM and shit, and mind in fact the confession was the same die Chanwoo came with a black eye, and then the same day MD literal choked him for whatever reason and revenge on Chanwoo ? thats immature asf, like if MD never confessed and the new guy came along and Chanwoo did all that, would things be different?
I think MD did it that day because he got a like for Chanwoo for a while now and was upset to see other people treat him that way and thought if it was going to be like that than he could definitely treasure him more, meaning he would hurt him in a way he enjoys and not hurt him for the sake of punching and being violent like the other guy he dated...after that comes MD snapping/being immature, letting his feelings take control and ending up doing a violent act which poses him in the same position as the guy (Chanwoo's ex boyfriend) he was looking down on just a while before..that's s how I read it at least
I kind of feel for MD. I mean he just confessed his feelings to Chanwoo, got rejected, persuaded to remain in a casual relationship immediately after the confession and then introduced to Chanwoo's prospective boyfriend.
So I feel like part of the reason why he's doing what he's doing is because he sees it as a chance to sever his relationship with Chanwoo. Like, if he hurt him, then maybe Chanwoo would try to get away from their relationship on his own and he won't have to do it himself nor keep hurting from an unrequited love.
