If they continue they pet play path I think this manhua has a great chance to give us the best sex scenes ever - filled with love and consensual BDSM fun.
(I say sex scenes because the whole story, as you said earlier, is a bit weird xD).
i've, literally, NEVER seen a lovey-dovey BDSM yaoi. like you said, every yaoi ive read that includes BDSM is always rough, usually used as an example of how the seme's starts off as a bad person. the uke is almost always in the place of "omg no i hate this let me go!!!" then ends up like "omg why am i feeling so good". i swear, every BDSM sex scene ive ever seen in yaoi is ALWAYS the seme basically taking advantage of the uke ┗( T﹏T )┛
even in this one, the seme was, kinda, taking advantage of the uke. even though puppy was deep-down into it, the seme was aware that puppy was very very innocent and inexperienced, but took him into an environment that would be scary for even an experienced pet. i think the author kinda tried to, like, damper how shitty the seme was for doing that by making the uke a deep-down slut, but it was still shitty nonetheless. the car scene was, definitely, more "lovey" than the literally-outside-in-public scene, but wasn't really BDSM... although puppy's voyeurism kink was definitely cute too ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄
unfortunately, knowing that it's over now, this manhwa has fallen to the common trope that often occurs in BDSM yaoi.... the BDSM virtually disappeared once they became a "real" couple...
If you would like to see a manhwa that doesn't leave the BDSM after they become the couple and the BDSM is portrayed more... Accurately? (Not 100% but like hundred levels better then usual) I recommend From Points of Three.
The story is really fucked up, as usual, but sex was actually really nice. The seme is in a way taking advantage of an uke but uke (actually 2 ukes because to some point of a story it's a threesome) is willingly participating and doesn't do the famous "omg I hate this".
As I said the story is fucked up and has one of mY FaVoUrItE tropes "I kind of arranged everything so you would fall in my trap", but it is somehow different than usually so it was fun to read.
The best sex scenes are in the epilogue when the relationships are finally established properly and there is lovely-dovely sex and BDSM sex.
author is lucky they used characters that are, like, EXACTLY my type. serious & experienced master vs a cute & inexperienced pet who knows, deep down, that they’re into some smutty shit? FUCK yeah.
that being said, the plot is... a little funky. i think it’s all a little creepy— like one of those weird sexual chats on omegle. i’m not sure how the author can fix the funky plot this far into the story, but i hope that they are aware BDSM can still be sweet, and not in a “omg he protected me from being seen by some rando street guy” but more in a genuine love-filled way.
also, side note, this is just personal preferences but why do these “master x pet” stories only feature like, 3 sex scenes with this actual relationship??（/TДT)/ this type of BDSM is my guilty pleasure and it brings me such sorrow that it’s only really used as an example of the “before-love” relationship, then once the seme + uke become more of an actual couple, they ditch the BDSM completely. :( give me some happy couple BDSM rn please
