I read a lot of rape stories (such as Painter of tte Night) and I like them cuz they're well-written. The issue is not the rape here. I think you misses the point of my comment-

What bothers me is that people would call Paulo "cute" for wanting Gabriel to love him and that's just fucked up. I don't see mangas, manwhas or anything of the sort as only a piece of fiction. When a author spends their time writing a story I believe it has a part of reality behind. Writing a story about someone who gets raped a lot by a bastard and finally loves their rapist without wanting to denounce this world's horrible reality while romanticizing their relationship is just WRONG.
People forget about Paulo's wrong doings only cuz he's hot (as they did for Sangwoo from KS) and they can actually call him cute cuz he wants to be "loved"- when what he wants is not love but to make Gabriel his as if he was an object. Those people are the problem. Never said anything about the story.

There are plenty of stories where are authors sexualizing rape, even this author is sexualizing it, when she/he is making the uke actually enjoy that situation. Yeah I get that people think it's okay if that rapist is hot, that is twisted, you are right, like I said, I never thought that it's okay for Gabriel to be raped, rape is wrong. However in fictional stories, there are stories about murders, serial killer etc, it's all wrong in real life, so thats why I said you can't compare it to real world.

Just because a couple of authors are sexualizing it, doesn't make it right. This is why manhwas and mangas have been so dry and just plain tasteless lately because, they all involve rape, dubious consent, and love triangles. What makes you believe I can't compare it to in real life??? Where do you think these authors get these ideas from?
