nah I don't think you need to, really. Just take it as another webtoon haha

It's not necessary but personally i would advise you do it. Mostly because it's really different how you can attach yourself emotionally to any of the characters ;; the connections are way deeper the more you go through the game and it's a hell of a ride, even tho the reason why MC picks up the phone and enters the chat is a little bit less reasonable than how it's depicted here (I personally liked the way they arranged it in the Webtoon) the game is really good. It's kinda stressful to keep up, I know right, but i think it's totally worth it ✩

thank you for your thorough reply! :)

Realistically, how much time a day should I be investing in the game then when I play? Like keep checking in regularly or just a few hours at a time? Thank you :)

Uh- sad to tell you but it literally keeps you on it all day ahahah
It's a total of something like 10-12 chats per day, meaning a chat every almost two hours except for nighttime (but the latest chat you can find is something a little ahead of 3AM and the earliest chat is at 6AM, kinda, so yeah, kinda stressful if you don't wanna miss any chat and you don't wanna pay extra hourglasses to take part in the missed chats).

Depending on how fast you can read and answer the chats (and depending on how long they are -they can go from a few couple of lines to full length chat, so I can say literally from 2 to 20/30 minutes and maybe more) you will have time from one chat to the next, but if you're slow they will come by eventually so you'll end up chatting all day ahahah

The chats have fixed times throughout the week and you can find guides online to help you see when the next one will pop up, but anyway the notification from the app would go off itself, so this shouldn't be a problem, but you never know, there are times in which notifications fail to show up and you miss the chat

I admit it's kinda stressful and I played it 2 years ago while I had lots of free time, so play it when you feel ready for it ahahah
Every route lasts 10 days and the 11th is the party day so it only lasts until 12PM
3 basic routes, 2 deep routes and 2 "Another story" routes.
You'll need hourglasses to unlock the deep and another story slots (but you only pay once for the slot and never again).
I'm leaving out way too many things but yeah, I think this is the basic you'll need to know what ♡
I swear it's totally worth it, tho ♡

Damn, thank you so much! You're so kind to have explained it all to me :) Maybe after my uni classes are over I can start playing lol -- with quarantine I shouldn't have an excuse

Ahahah, take your time! It's kinda addictive if you enter the right mood, so play it when you're sure of it ahaha~
