Agree. Honestly a respectable human being would’ve left that dude at the table after he openly admitted to luring in Chanwoo with ulterior motives, instead MD saw it as an opportunity to press Chanwoo after getting turned down. This whole chapter felt pretty gross, I understand humiliation might be a fetish for some but making Chanwoo do stuff with the guy that just used him/humiliated him outside of BDSM feels like forcing sexual assault especially with that “the better one is my sub” hanging over their head.
totally agree. i really liked their side story because i thought it was pretty well done, SSC stuff and it was fun to read. i do NOT like how MD is manipulating chanwoo here, because it's manipulation, plain and simple like you said. chanwoo has been in distress this whole chapter and obviously off his game ever since the reveal. if MD really cared about chanwoo he would be treating him so differently, and i'm not a huge fan of the turn minghwa's taken here. MD better shape up soon.
Agreed! Chanwoo isnt in the right state, he's obviously uncomfortable, but he will keep going for the sake of MD. Chanwoo might have rejected MD, but he's allowed to! MD has to stop being a petty ass bitch, pressuring him to do shit.
Exactly!!! I was totally thinking that this was a perfect opportunity for MD to show he's better than the guys Chanwoo dates by rejecting the ex sub and maybe saying stuff like "you don't deserve to date someone like Chanwoo" (I'm weak for the "knight in a shining armor" type lol), but this chapter was totally off for me. Didn't enjoy it one bit. I feel so sad for Chanwoo bc he's actually one of my fave characters and in this side story he's being treated like shit.

People all going like "omg it's just a slap they did so much worse!!" yes but it was NOT something they AGREED on, since Chanwoo was so startled by it. "He can say the safe word anytime" uhm, no? MD is MANIPULATING him, saying "if you wanna stop it's ok, BUT I'm not going to be your dom anymore" so Chanwoo CAN'T say no unless he wanna lose MD. And MD perfectly knows that Chanwoo values his relationship with him (their sexual one, at least) very highly and that he would do anything to keep being his sub. MD is manipulating Chanwoo by using their dom/sub relationship against him so yes, HE IS FORCING HIM!! If I had a close friend who I knew is in love with me (or cares about me deeply) and I was like "I think you're nice, but if you want to keep being my friend you have to pay me", wouldn't you think that I'm a bad person? That my poor friend is in a bind?
I was so excited for this side story bc I loved them as a couple but honestly, MD is on his way to become such a toxic character that I'm not enjoying the chapters anymore. He's probably trying to get Chanwoo to admit how much he actually cares about him, but going a totally wrong way. BDSM is supposed to be SAFE AND CONSENSUAL, not "we can stop anytime but then if you do you lose me forever". Please don't take this relationship as an example.
