Told us what? If anything, this chapter proves that MD emotionally manipulated Chanwoo, to the point where he said the safe word. He also apologised at the end - which also means he knew he did something wrong.

There’s 2 key things I’ll like to point out:

1.In no frame did the suppose BDSM play even seemed remotely enjoyable to Chanwoo - which goes against the play since it’s meant to be pleasurable for both parties. Chanwoo looked uncomfortable, disgusted and upset the entire time. What did MD do? Kissed the other dude and smiled. Yikes.

2. Yeah, MD got what he wanted in the end if that’s your point - he ‘taught me Chanwoo a lesson (gross). This literally tells me that he had ulterior motive, disguised as BDSM play. That’s manipulation, and hes a scum for that.

But that was the point no? Md had to push it that far for chanwoo to learn. It’s better than leaving chanwoo alone and something way worse than that happens to him. And the same person he kept calling gross is the same one he literally jumped to have sex with Like few days b4 that thing with MD happened

MD isn’t Chanwoo’s therapist. He has no right to teach Chanwoo a lesson LMAO. Tbh, I’m confused as to what the goal is....for Chanwoo to be aware of his abusive romantic relationships? Obviously, it’s fiction (which shouldn’t be an excuse bc abusive relationships isn’t something you should use as a plot device, gross) but pushing someone’s boundaries in this sort of context is harmful and implies the victim is at fault and responsible for their own short-comings. Also, the thing is, Chanwoo isn’t just MD’s ‘sub’.

True MD isn’t chanwoo’s therapist, but he would rather take it upon himself to help chanwoo before chanwoo ends up probably getting choked to death somewhere out there cuz we all know he’s still gonna go around picking up scumbags. And hey BDSM is already messed up as it is so I don’t see what the fuss about one slap is.

Devising “abuse” as a plot is not so great that’s true however so is devising killing, fighting, cheating etc. and we all watch those in 90% of the Genre out there so I don’t see the difference.

U said it urself “it is fiction” however if we were to relate this to real life matter I’d say that when u reading about these things, it’s telling people “things like this do exist and if u find it disgusting while reading it then let it serve as a reminder not to do it in real life or you will be just as disgusting as the character you are hating on” so if a lesson like that could be learn I don’t see why we should hate on the author for using it as a plot.

Ahhhh one more thing MD didn’t say “sorry” cuz he knows he manipulated chanwoo, he said sorry cuz regardless of his intent behind What he did to chan, he still hurt a person he had feelings for that’s why he had to apologize.

If u spilled ur best friend secrets to keep him/her safe wouldn’t u still apologize to ur best friend for doing that regardless of what ur motives was? It’s the same for MD
