Usually with D/s dynamics it’s not really about how good then sex is but rather about feeling no shame when doing things that please your Dom or sub. It’s definitely not for everyone, but being submissive in a BDSM relationship isn’t a sign of lack of pride or anything. It’s also a very give-and-take kind of relationship believe it or not, so while to some it may seem that the subs are always the ones pleasing the Doms, if the dynamic is good then there’s actually a lot of control given to the sub. Concepts like shame and pride can be misinterpreted by those outside of the BDSM community, but it’s actually not as toxic as some would think haha.

agree, also speaking of pride - subs can be prideful in how much they are willing to take as a sign of devotion to the dom. some see it as a physical challenge, other mental.
