You aren't the only one. I've seen other people from other sites or groups that are LGBT+ who read yaoi or yuri that said they also feel uncomfortable if people are a little too.... Hyper with their "like". To me, I felt... well... sorry for the strong word, but, disgusted.

At first, i wasn't as harsh with what I was feeling. Uncomfortable, yes, but I was able to ignore it... But ever since my bestfriend started reading yaoi and talking the same way, that's when it really hit me that it's not good to be thought of like that.

(You might think this is too much detail, and I'm sorry if ever, but I just really wanna talk about it to someone. I haven't actually confronted my bestfriend about this since it's a reallllly awkward topic.)

I found this comment just now and I'm actually very interested in knowing more about it. I understand fetishizing is a common thing and I find it kinda weird myself but I'm also not sure when shipping and other stuff can go too far or "weirdly exciting".
