I totally agree, though It's 2/5 for me lol I mean yeah I found the uke cute and all... And it was quite funny at times but overal it was really shallow and kinda cringy/confusing at times? And yes the Seme is manipulative however I see it... If you look past the "comedy" you realize how dark and twisted his character can be. Anyways, kinda dissapointed ╮(￣▽￣)╭

You hit the nail on the head. It's a third-rate BL story, art had me duped as always and also gave me the patience to wade my way through this bullshit.
Given the common recipe of BL, the seme who is essentially a criminal in every sense of the word is a common ass seme too and his type really appeals to the fantasy of a lot of readers - so possessive that he'll lock u up and possess u and make even the 50shades guy look bad. Not my style unless it's scarlet beriko or harada or nakamura asumiko who go for the all psycho-artsy angle and do it justice
I must add that the art isn't good enough to rate 2/5 =___= It hurts my eyes so much with the weird anatomy and background and flowers.
But still, 1/5 because it couldn't be worse anymore at the end =____=
My theory for this story is that the main character might be autistic? That’s kind of the vibes I got. It seemed like he had a harder time picking up on social cues, expresses love differently (even the other character acknowledged that his sort of loved never changed. So he doesn’t have the capability to feel jealousy or anything like that.) he also thinks that holding hands is cheating. He also didn’t understand at the beginning of the story the difference between a romantic kiss and a casual kiss. He was also so quick to change himself because he had someone he admired. Of course this could just be the author over dramatizing the “clueless uke” archetype for comedic purposes but still.
This story has to be the most idiotic shit I've read in a while. Why did I read this after reading a decent children's mystery story.
My take on it:
-Most of the interactions made little sense, characterization was haphazard, side characters other than the girlfriend had almost no purpose and depth.
-The uke who had some plus-point in this pathetic story lost all brownie points when it seemed like the fat classmate from the past would make an impact to the storyline. BUT OFC NOTHING HAPPENED!! Oh why do I get my hopes up.
-Also the romance was almost nil and closer to brainwashing. Seme was the lamest yandere ever, take some lessons from color recipe.
-The ending was random and all that build up in the final few chapters made me think that they would explain why kido or whatisname is the way he is and show some interesting family history but it was all for naught.
The first 20 chapters made the webtoon out to be some kind of wack comedy shit along the lines of Handa-kun or sakamoto desu ga but ofc far inferior and it couldn't even be that. It tried to gain some depth and seriousness towards the end but failed miserably.
Nice-ish art but overall a waste of time. I'll give this 1 star because of the art and how the uke made me laugh in the beginning with his naivety.
