Lmao you sound like you have a soft hearts but yet you read heaven official blessing? I remembered reading heaven official blessing 1 year ago and the number of heart attack the novel gave me is too many
I'll admit I haven't read the novel yet. I've just read what there is of the manhua.
Those boundaries are mostly there so I can avoid, or at least have advance notice of, certain triggers. Otherwise, I like pain in stories. I like being hurt by stories. So, if you have any recommendations, I would love to hear them.
Oh i see then if u like hob and mdzs maybe try Scumbag system made by the same author. I dont really read chinese manhua that much so i dont have any recomendation sorry T T... But maybe you will like “The wilting light” (its a korean manhwa but its pretty good). Also if youre talking about pain in stories... i really recommend reading heaven official blessing novel, cause ive read a lot of novel and theres really nothing can be compared to HOB. I read hob a year ago and until this day i still cant forget the moment the main character broke down and attempt suicide. Also the moment the mc crying in his enemy’s embrace really gave me chills. Reading the novel really different compared to reading the manhwa cause a lot of details just skipped over and the feelings you’ll get wont be the same

I'm working my way through the Guardian novel right now, but I'll definitely read HOB once I'm done with that. Tragedy is exactly my cup of tea.
I'm looking for something similar to MDZS or Heaven Official's Blessing (or even Guardian), preferably with similar art styles.
A couple things:
- I absolutely do not want to read anything underage. That is a hard limit for me.
- If sexual assault is present anywhere, just inform me so I can prepare myself. I don't mind interacting with that content, I just need to be ready for it.
