This was a good read but I'm left with a huge gaping hole in my heart. The author was very good at twisting my expectations while probably being more realistic than me. The epilogue indicates that the relationship between Seki and Azuma doesn't change, he's still her pet. An existence as a pet seems very sad, that chapter where he chirps made me depressed. The ending of the villain dude uh King, that scene of him as a baby and then his ultimate fate made me feel empty. He deserves it but the idea of eternal darkness tho, at some point he is going to get tired of falling into despair over and over right? The Chesire guy's fate was awful, he dies crying and its sucks that his whole purpose in life was decided by his predecessor. He doesn't even notice his brother who stayed behind with him... Its interesting because the side characters undergo some character development like the Japan group and that Peru guy. Meanwhile people like Seki, King, and Azuma are happy with their fates even though they don't fundamentally change. Azuma gives me mixed feelings, I'm happy for her and the fact that she smiled at the end. She saved the world for all the wrong reasons but she doesn't have to deal with the remorse. But imagining a chapter where she becomes a world devil that destroys millions of people is startling and it makes me sad for her as a person. Now I'm just feeling regret in that I wrote a really long rant about this hahah.
