Remember in the beginning she was assigned to a prisoner that was set either to be killed or was already dying I forgot. And he asked her real name and she told him her real identity (as princess). But we find out later that she was already famous among the common folk for helping those in need behind her familys (the royals killed) back. So he said that he would pray to god/goddess I forgot that her wish comes true and she wished to be capable or something like that, and to have great life essentially since she was struggling at the time with her poor maid skills. Thus she is now learning the skills she requires before whatever situation arrives where she needs to implement these new skills. I may be off in some of this but it's the general gist of it.

I always forget where I put my glasses and why I walked into the kitchen at 12 am but I still manage to remember stories I'd read fairly well-ish so it worked in our favor. But trust me I have a terrible memory. (≧∀≦)
