I remember this artist

I thought I recognized the art somewhere else: the bodys are drawn so smooth, the lines neat and thin - and after reading the first three chapter I finally found it out (mostly for the over-the-top and absurd plot development). This artist worked/works for the doujinshi circle Sanctuary/Hotama and I basically read all her Hetalia djs back in 2013/2014. I'm so happy they managed to finally publish their own original works! They're truly amazing!

Holy shit I honestly feel so nostalgic, it brings back the hetalian weeb in me. I’ve been in the fandom for 7 years and seeing one of my favorite artists come from making doujins to publishing their own works makes me proud. I didn’t even realize they were new to making manga!

On a side note do you know haku? or rockets.tumblr.com? she grew from making usuk fanart to publishing her webtoon series and I am proud to have stuck by her since the beginning. It just feels so fulfilling to see these people thrive and it all started with hetalia. As toxic and fucked up the fandom was, the community paved the way for a shit ton of writers and artists. Not to mention the friends and memories we all made. Hetalia really was THAT fandom. It will forever have a special place in my heart.
