The ending is just perfect. Everyone gets a happy ending that their ancestors/previous life couldn't get. Sumihiko doesn't have to be a responsible big brother, he gets to sleep in and be lazy. Tojuro has a happy relationship with his father. Muichirou and Yuichirou, Iguro and Kanroji, Genya and Sanemi, Kochou and her sister, they finally get a chance to be with their family/S.O. Yushiro keeps his promise with Tanjirou (for someone who only listen to Tamayo) and keeps Tamayo memories alive. Ubuyashiki family's curse finally broke, as he gets to become the oldest person alive. Himejima becomes a kindergarten teacher. And Giyu, Sabito and Makomo ;-;
It's such a fulfilling ending. No forced couple(I'm talking about you, Boruto), no shitty family drama sequel, and overall, thanks to the sacrifice of the predecessors, the future they fight for become peaceful and filled with love.
In most shounen there is a trend that the son will succeed the father, become the greatest and all. But demon slayer's corp is a business of circumstance. No one wants it to become a family business. Once Muzan died, it's gone. A certain ending.
I do want a cute spin-off of their daily high school life tho. No more demon fighting, just a cute slice of life story.
