I said it’s a headcanon for me. A personal headcanon thats most likely never going to be canon because I don’t know if the author even has the range for that, lol. I’m on the autism spectrum myself and I’ve seen alot of Yul’s traits and characteristics in myself and my other autistic peers. Feel like you took this the offensive way when that wasn’t even the case lol.
I'm autistic as well and I agree with you. It does seem like he could be on the spectrum. There is nothing wrong with being autistic and its not a mental disorder as previous poster stated. It makes sense especially with how blunt and precise he is with his words also she calls him a robot in the beginning.
Exactly, thank you for seeing my point. My friend T*.ujin who is further on the spectrum than me gets called emotionless, robotic, and stuck-up when she struggles to relate or see the appeal in a lot of regular things and interests.
Things like memes and shitposting elude her and she’d get ridiculed for that. Yul’s traits are not far off for a lot of on AS and I was just finding comfort in seeing a character posses and do things I do as well.
It’s interesting how Yulie is used by the author as sort of voice of logic and reasoning but the author deliberately decides when Havi should listen to what he’s saying or not, it’s especially concerning how the author rarely wants have Havi take accountability for her very wrong actions.
I think it’s because of the creator is already making a female mc that’s stigmatized enough for just living and so she wants to validate her and her desires as a free being. Yet that doesn’t excuse borderline rape, the author shouldn’t have glossed over things like that, if you can do a whole damn chapter about “cis men having periods” you can do a chapter explaining why her actions were wrong and despicable.
Not to be a MRA or anything because fuck does this site not already slutshame and ridicule women but Havi is the type of girl I really enjoy seeing in webtoons especially as main characters. It sucks that I can’t appreciate her enough when the author makes her like the girl version of a fratboy fuckboy. Invasive, ignorant, and insensitive.
