So Seven used to be a part of some organisation that was basically like a sex trafficking ring (this is what I'm guessing from what Eight and the other guys were doing) till he basically just ran away. Eight is probably pissed off that Seven left which is why he keeps bumping into Akamatsu and following them in public.
There's a whole lot more going on but it's kinda hard to tell. I'm here for the underlying dark tone but I'm staying for the fluff between the awkward Seven and Akamatsu. I love them.
