If you can't afford new jeans or to buy a new laptop do you also feel free to steal it? The author of this comic made an official post on twitter about how page like that hurts her business. If this continues one day authors won't be able to make any comics at all
I don't get people who criticize the uploaders, I mean, I know it's wrong reading and uploading chapters for free, but they are like angels for us so we have to deal with everything that comes with it. Even if they took awkward screenshots or if they are doing something illegal. I mean, we all know that reading chapters for free isn't legal but if we COULD support an author we would do it with all our might. So I really can't stand the people who criticize the uploaders because they are doing something not actually legal. They are doing a huge favour to a whole lot of people, buying chapters legally or translating them with a lot of passion and time.
I really can't bear to see uploaders who dropped their work because of CRITICISM not coming from the authors themselves but from the READERS. And it happened a lot of times, too.
So, I understand the people who criticise, but on the other hand I understand the other part of people who can't buy chapters. I personally am one of them and I swear to God that when I'll get a job I'll start buying chapters because I understand that it's not right what I'm doing.
So please don't hate the uploaders and don't hate the readers who read chapters for free, because if they could afford chapters they would surely buy them.
