Shaving Pubic hair

Ha-Ha May 18, 2020 9:27 pm

So Like I've been reading this in a lot of yaoi that if you shave your pubic hair, you can't go find someone to fuck with. At least that's the gist of it.

I wanna know what exactly entails to such a reasoning. Requesting the senpais' with actual exp in real world to share their knowledge.
And everybody else too ofc.

I have....never encountered this problem in a yaoi....what yaoi are you reading? Me and you may have different taste ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭. But most of the ones I read, it is shaven,.....

LOL I just read a scene with this in Caste Heaven, I am guessing it's because it makes you look slutty? Like if you shave everything you want people to look at it? This is my best guess!

I've read several that have this 'trope?' idk , in them. It mostly seems to stem from if they try to sleep with anyone they'll be too busy laughing at the bare pubic area and imply that they are still like a 'child/haven't hit puberty' and it is therefore an embarrassing situation to not have pubic hair down there if you're a manly man/have actually become old enough to sleep around. At least that's what I've gotten from the several I've come across. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

Body hair is a symbol of masculinity and maturity, so shaving it off is considered emasculating.... which sucks for me bc I hate body hair ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍

It's just a stupid social construct, ma'am. Apparently hair is a sign of masculinity, as if not everyone's born with hair. Men could be called "gay" or "feminine" for shaving - terms that, well, aren't very positively viewed by society for a "man". So yh, basically, it's just a bullshit stereotype that has people ridiculing men for shaving. Aside from that, there's the typical idea of ukes having to be "feminine" like being smaller than the seme, having no hair, etc. I've seen this shaving thingy in yarisugi party night. The seme shaves the uke's pubic area so he won't fuck around even though they ain't even dating. #justpossessivethingz

I meant that they can't do it but the ML just seems to be like so sure sometimes so I just thought it might be something like that or maybe it's the embarassment ?
