idk i feel like she caused major difficulties for the both of them , literally could’ve ran away if she didn’t want to marry the king , her parents seem to want to dominate her life and seeing that she’s so smart i feel like she could’ve started a new business of smthn and start a new happy life. for regan, hes marrying a lady from a ducal house so he’ll probably need to end or limit his fooling around yk? the king and her parents won’t let him just f around no more. but overall it just makes me annoyed how she acts like this when she can clearly act for herself instead of intruding in on someone’s personal life who obviously doesn’t want her company.

Idk coz I quite don't remember the early story coz it's so long update. But did u think it's so easy for her to make a new life as a noble lady background? It's not like this is a modern day that people is easy left u behind when u are run away. Unluckily, They can chase u till ur death if u bring the humiliation to the family. idk i’m referencing from other noble stories where the FL, who’s a noble, runs away from her family like going to a remote village or smthn and they do jus fine. ingrid is a great liar and very smart so i feel like she could’ve pulled it off, dyed her hair and mayb cut it to be free yk? that’s why i think ingrid couldve done this instead of going to regan. also she didn’t give regan any benefits if regan himself doesn’t consider them to be benefits, he considers them as shackles and obstacles and an unnecessary, annoying method. so in truth, it isn’t a benefit at all to him. plus she made a lot of rumors between him and her, she’s quite a schemer and caused much trouble for him , even making his mom think that they would make a good pair and his friends think he’s lucky to have such a beautiful woman to become his wife, so basically the ppl around him got brainwashed in a way . that’s why idk if i would consider that she’s being sincere, it’s more like she realized yeah he really hates me i should stop doing this now since the engagements over with king severus. then she gets yelled by father after ppl found out they stayed in the same bedroom and regan decides to help her and now apparently their engagement ain’t actually over. she looked so happy too which made me confused like why would u wanna stay wit this guy who doesn’t want u and u don’t even like him ? idk her characters not very likeable is what i’m tryna get at.

Yeah...u had the good points here. Like u said maybe she is scheme 4 everything. Sometimes it's so stress read this. Idk & remember if this is manhwa or manhua. Most (Korea) manhwa story is more logical & sensible than manhua(China) most of story line sometimes is ridiculous to think.

The mc did tried to run away with the guy she love but was caught, and he was beaten up by her family.
she doesn't want to leave the kingdom she lives in.
how can she even runaway her family would have the help of the king to find her and the fiancee she was supposed to marry.
I don't think it's possible for her to live in a village without her being caught, there might be solder from one of the kingdom going to different villages looking for her and the villager would probably tell them about a new person that came to their village.

oh i didn’t know she tried that before but yeah she did use her intelligence ig , marrying the bastard son of the precious king so that her family won’t control her marriage and she can also watch hector from afar at the palace too. still doesn’t change the fact she’s manipulative but ig that’s only for now, i read some spoilers and her actions are justifiable ig , still don’t really like her character but that’s only for now , like most stories character development comes later in the story so i’m looking forward to it.
