Thanks for clearing that up i was always confused on how his parents died.
Yeah I didnt realize the first time because he said he killed them, but it was because he thought the mother killed the father in order to protect him, and that it was his fault the mother died, so in his messed up head he thinks he killed them, which made it more confusing. I was relieved when I noticed that, even though he's still a murderer, ironic

Didnt realize till 2nd time reading that he didnt actually kill his parents. His mother killed his father, and then she stabbed herself on the knife he was holding. The he went crazy as a result. Now I feel bad for him, was abused in every way by his parents and suffered ptsd causing his psychotic episodes. Damn, it's just a no win situation for everyone here
