Shiwon was a rapist and a manipulative sociopath, he deserve worse punishment than that. Joonghwan deserved peace and someone better.
I hated it, there was no justice.

Tbh, I feel that watching the only person he loves slowly decay for decades and then die is a fitting punishment. Add that to the punishment in ch 33 (which is pretty severe for someone like him and prevents him from being an awful person like before), I think it's ok. Plus, he's still going to have to watch Joonghwan die and reincarnate after this.

How is any of that a punishments when he’s rewarded with “owning” Joonghwan for eternity. Even when Joonghwan died it was Shiwon’s terms. And Shiwon will never let Joonghwan escape him. It’s actual horror story dressed up as a quirky romance.

Well...yes. That's the point. Didn't you feel like you were sucker-punched by the end of the first couple's story? I think the author is setting these up to be lighthearted comedy and then betraying your expectations in order to call attention to the fact it's messed up.

keep in mind this is from a victim: shiwon was forgiven by joonghwan and he presumably didnt suffer any trauma, i think having to sit each day for a year suffering, watching the person you love the most decay and die, and reflecting for 365 days is more than enough...to be honest i just grew to love both of their characters so maybe im biased

I too... Feel like it's unfair. JoongHwan has suffered too. Don't you guys see? From the time he met Shiwon till the day he died as a demon.. How many yearsss is it? If Shiwon being honest a bit earlier then I probably can forgive him. But NO! You know what I thought when I see the pathetic side of Shiwon? "You reap what you sow. You deserve it." Is what I thought. But then BAM he selfishly revive him.
Everything ended nicely ALL thanks to JoongHwan patience and kind heart. If not, I don't even think he will be happy being revived back.
