This chapter pissed me off for a number of reasons:
1. WTF was the "you can't show sympathy for a hurt human being in front of others because you are an actor" bullshit?!
So are actors supposed to be robots?!
He might have been concerned about somehow this "exposing" them as lovers; but in that situation I think Kajima's actions would have seemed a reasonable reaction.
To a person who is a former manager, a fellow actor, a friend, who just got traumatically injured trying to save him. Why would holding him, stopping the blood flow, and even going with him to the hospital seem strange?
And even if it did- fuck that (╬ ̄皿 ̄)凸
2. "I will only say this ONCE so listen carefully"....
Why? Why only tell him once that you love him, and how much he means to you?!
In a relationship actions are important, but so are words; especially words of affirmation, support, and love.
Is your ego really that inflated?
3. What the two "villains" were going through was awful, but how they dealt with it was even worse.
I place less blame on Shunya, and a lot more on Kenta (Saeki).
Shunya literally went crazy from traumatic events.
Saeki as a partner who clearly saw everything he was going through and how it was pushing him further towards the edge, should have gotten him professional help.
Therapy and medication could have very likely helped to a certain extent, and things wouldn't have gone so far.
Not to mention a HUGE betrayal of trust, injury, possibly maiming/disfiguring/killing someone ruining their lives and the lives of those around them. It was brushed off way to easily with perpetrator sympathy.

I agree so much with this.

I agree with your points - I think a lot of the writing is done with macro storytelling and skims details and nuances a lot.
    1. I think the author was trying to portray that you have to be stoic and not give away personal emotions in front of the limelight where expressions and actions can be twisted by media no matter how you deal with things. I also think it's ridiculous but I think the author was just trying to make the moment dramatic/heroic that Kojima had to pretend he was fine which yeah is stupid when your colleague was stabbed
    2. I think it's ridiculous too but probably an attempt to make Kojima look cool/sexy/unattainable/desirable. A lot of yaoi stories do this where they portray the seme as an asshole or bad boy to make the audience fawn over him since a lot of people are attracted to bad boy soft for one person. another part of him saying that I think is Kojima is really poor at expressing his feelings verbally and was kind of saying "I would only ever say this to you, only going to say this once because I normally don't feel comfortable to say these things aloud" fortunately he's been really good to ryousuke beyond this so I think ryousuke understood the meaning. Another example of this was Kojima not apologizing for raping ryousuke - terrible communication and actions - ryousuke knowing his heart and asking why are you not apologizing??? Also I think that's another frustrating point is Kojima raping him to begin with and then not apologizing and instead wallowing in sorrow and wanting to escape / separate instead. The whole telling ryou he could go contract with the perv who assaulted him wtf???? I hope they had a long talk off screen I guess..
    3. This author skims a lot over interesting storyline that could/should be more in depth and yes we need more background on these two but it's clear shunya needs way more medical/psychological help and Saeki should have done that for him

Wanted to follow up with saying that #2 is a huge problem in yaoi on general making the samw blueprint seme being the perfect specimen that doesn't show his feelings and doesn't express himself/be vulnerable and slowly does that for his uke but still be an asshole normally and disrespect the uke in that way but it's seen as attractive or part of his character and forgivable
